The Ampeg B1-RE is our most value-oriented bass head, offering 300-watts of output power @ 4 Ohms, three bands of EQ, Preamp Out/Power Amp In, and an XLR Balanced Line out. It is virtually identical to its big brother, the B2-RE, minus the Graphic EQ.

Ideal for bass players ready to make the jump to a rackmount system, the B1-RE offers more professional features than anything in its class. All that tone, plus solid-state reliability—the highly affordable Ampeg B1-RE.

The ABM 500 EVO III is a 575 watts RMS bass amp head designed to satisfy both bass-purists and tech-heads alike. Three straightforward rotary tone controls provide 20dB of cut and boost at 60Hz, 660Hz and 5kHz, and are supplemented by two pairs of additional sliders giving 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz and 2.6kHz. The EQ can be switched in/out by a footswitch, enabling players to go from a flat fretless sound to a boosted sound via a favourite EQ setting. A single input is switchable for passive and active instruments with a blend of solid state and dual triode tube preamps stages which can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm and overdriven tones.

Single channel compressor/limiter. The dbx 160A is the latest generation of the legendary dbx 160 family of compressor/limiters. The same classic sound, easy set-up and no compromise metering is now married to an improved signal path and stronger chassis design. The result is the new industry standard compressor/limiter which is digital-ready and road tough.

OverEasy or classic hard-knee compression

Ultra-musical, program-dependent attack and release times

Variable compression ratio from 1:1 to negative compression

Adjustable dual RMS LED display

Over 60dB of gain reduction

Independent balanced and unbalanced outs

dbx 160A Compressor/Limiter

Featuring switch-selectable OverEasy and Hard Knee compression curves along with extremely wide-ranging threshold, ratio and output controls, the dbx 160A is up to any task. True RMS level detection provides the most natural-sounding dynamics processing available, from subtle compression to "brick wall" peak limiting. Choose low ratios and OverEasy compression to transparently smooth out fluctuating vocal and instrumental levels. Or use the 160A's Hard Knee compression and high ratios (up to and beyond :1 and over 60dB gain reduction) for bombproof protection against overload distortion in digital recording, P.A. systems and broadcast signals. The 160A is fully compatible with +4/-10dB and balanced/ unbalanced systems, and its electronically balanced output stage is an outstanding line driver for long cable runs (an output transformer is optional). The 19-segment, switchable input/ output LED metering can be easily calibrated to any operating level. 12-segment gain reduction LEDs provide precise analysis at a glance.

The DN9848E incorporates some customer-requested operational additions. The user-configurability of the unit includes full matrix mixing capability between inputs and outputs, providing an unequalled level of flexibility. Whilst programming, inputs or outputs can now be ‘ganged’ so that the user can enter program data into one input or output menu and all connected inputs or outputs will be simultaneously updated. Input and output parameters can also be copied from one to another. The internal memory structure has also been revised such that it is now possible to back up the RAM-based system memories into non-volatile flash memory.

The proprietary ELGAR software coupled with Helix System Controller Remote Control Software (RCS) Add-In allows simple up-and-down-loading of system parameters into the FLASH memory locations, as well as storage and transmission of system information.

Should for example you need a new system configuration to be loaded into a unit on the other side of the world? No problem, simply email the ELGAR file to wherever it needs to go, it can then be uploaded into the unit in seconds.

Precise Control of Your EQ with the High-performance DN Series from Klark Teknik

The dual-channel graphic EQ of choice for many audio professionals, the DN360 offers instant access, total reliability, and some of the finest analog EQ you'll find anywhere. Its variable Q design means that the "Q" value of any fader becomes narrower as the fader approaches maximum cut or boost, so rather than a collection of unconnected cuts and boost, you get a flowing, musical response with any overall fader setting.
